What transportation options do you provide?

Transportation is available to ASC from Brooklyn Elementary and Forest Edge Elementary. Buses arrives at ASC at approximately 3:25 P.M. each day to drop- off ASC children. We also have a bus that comes from RCI that arrives at approximately 3:20 P.M.

What are your nutrition and snack policies?

Nutritious snacks, fruit and milk are provided during the morning and afternoon. All snacks are prepared in accordance with USDA guidelines and posted weekly. Upon request, specific snacks can be served to children with special medical needs. Please advise the management staff of any allergies of any foods or drinks, so that our snack assistants are able to accommodate their needs. Children will need a lunch and drink when the ASC program they are attending includes a lunch hour.

If for any reason your child is unable to eat our prepared snacks, they will be offered another healthy snack choice to meet their needs or family preferences. If a child comes to ASC without the essential items for their lunch we are able/required to supplement this lunch. ASC will supplement the meals, snacks and beverages if they do not meet the guidelines established by the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

What is your relationship with the Oregon School District?

ASC has had a positive collaboration with the Oregon School District for over 35 years. We very much appreciate that the Oregon School District continues to allow us the opportunity to rent space so we can be the primary resource for quality school care for our school aged children/youths of the Oregon School District.

What are your staff qualifications?

All After School Clubs staff must meet Wisconsin State Licensing requirements for their position. They are involved in ongoing staff development training. All staff are trained in CPR, AED, First Aid and Universal Precautions. All staff must adhere to State Licensing Rules and Regulations. In addition lead teachers are required to have at least six credits from an institution of higher learning.
